We are seeking an experienced
Billing Engineer
for a
Highways Project
in Ludhiana. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing project bills, quantities, and measurements, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and timely submission of bills.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of
RA Bills, Final Bills
, and reconciliation statements as per contract terms.
Measurement of executed work at site and preparation of
MB (Measurement Book)
.
Verification of subcontractor bills and certification of quantities.
Rate analysis for extra items, deviations, and non-tendered items.
Coordination with site engineers, planning team, and client/consultant for bill approvals.
Preparation of
BOQ comparisons
, quantity take-offs, and variation statements.
Maintaining billing records, abstracts, and supporting documents.
Tracking payments, certified amounts, and outstanding bills.
Ensuring billing as per
MoRTH / IRC / NHAI specifications
.
Assisting in claims, extensions of time (EOT), and price variation calculations.
Supporting audits and maintaining proper documentation.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of
Highway & Road Construction Billing
Expertise in
RA & Final Billing
Good understanding of
MoRTH, IRC, NHAI specifications
Quantity surveying & measurement skills
Rate analysis and deviation handling
Proficiency in
MS Excel
,
AutoCAD
(for quantity extraction)
Familiarity with
billing software
(if applicable)
Strong coordination and communication skills
Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
