Job Description

The Billing Engineer is responsible for the financial and contractual management of project costs, ensuring accurate and timely preparation, submission, and certification of bills and invoices for clients, subcontractors, and vendors. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the project's cash flow, managing budgets, and ensuring strict adherence to contractual terms.

The engineer is expected to travel to all sites for the preparation of bills and any other reports, our current project sites are based in Thrissur, Ernakulam and Alapuzha Districts

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process

Running Account (RA) Bills

and

Final Bills

for clients based on physical progress verified at the site. Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Verify site measurements with site engineers/supervisors and record them accurately in

Measurement Books (MB)

. Perform

Rate Analysis

for new or extra work items based on material, labour, and overhead costs, adhering to contract rates or standard schedules (e.g., DSR). Identify, calculate, and prepare claims/bills for

extra work items

or variations. Assist in project cost control by monitoring expenditure against the approved budget. Prepare

monthly material reconciliation statements

(e.g., steel, cement, key resources) to track consumption against theoretical requirements and arrange for recovery in case of excess usage or wastage.
Qualifications and experience:

B.Tech (CIVIL) safety certification CAD Excel

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?29,999.00 per month
