We are looking for a skilled BOQ & Estimation Engineer to prepare, analyze, and manage Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for construction projects. The role involves interpreting drawings, specifications, and project requirements to deliver accurate cost assessments and support project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review
Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Perform
material take-offs
and quantity calculations.
Prepare
cost estimates
for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Assist in
tendering process
, including rate analysis and pricing.
Review and compare
subcontractor/vendor quotations
.
Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost control.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients for clarification of quantities and specifications.
Maintain records of estimation data, assumptions, and project cost history.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in BOQ preparation and estimation (construction industry). Strong knowledge of
construction materials, methods, and standards
.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
