Excellent customer service skills


Prior experience in end-to-end RCM including Charges, Payment Posting and Patient and Insurance follow up.

Experience with Modernizing Medicine billing


Experience in dermatology billing

About the Role

As a Practice Billing Coordinator, your role involves the following tasks:


Reconcile and post charges and allocate payments for all self-pay services


Reconcile unallocated payments to ensure charges are posted and accounted for


Monitor claims queue to resolve issues flagged by the RCM team


Monitor for timely filing


Reconcile with internal team members as needed


Become proficient in financial ledgers, reconcile errors, and ensure accuracy in patient ledgers


Regularly meet with leadership team and external RCM partners


Monitor billing questions via email and Klara and work with location teams to resolve issues


Assist with complex insurance verification, eligibility and other questions to evaluate before escalating to RCM billing team


Monitor and complete external medical records requests


Pathology charge entry and manual claim processing
