Job Summary

The Billing and Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and preparing accurate billing as per BOQ and contract conditions. The role ensures effective cost control, timely billing, and coordination between site execution and management.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project. Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and construction programs. Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly. Identify delays, analyze variances, and suggest corrective actions. Coordinate with site engineers to align execution with the approved plan.

Billing & Cost Control

Prepare RA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements. Measure quantities as per drawings and BOQ. Maintain billing records and track client payments. Verify subcontractor bills and quantities. Assist in budget preparation, cost analysis, and forecasting.

Coordination & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Coordinate with site, design, procurement, and accounts teams. Support claims, variations, and extra item calculations. Ensure compliance with contract specifications and timelines.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience

5 to 7 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects
(Residential / Commercial / Industrial / Infrastructure).

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of BOQ, billing procedures, and contract management. Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project, MS Excel, and AutoCAD. Good understanding of construction methods and site execution. Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Effective communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Requirements

Experience in high-rise buildings or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with client billing and certification processes. Knowledge of ERP or project management systems is an advantage
