Requirements:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience

: 3+ years in billing and estimation within infrastructure and residential projects.

Skills

: Proficient in cost estimation tools, MS Excel, and billing software; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

Knowledge

: Strong understanding of quantity surveying, construction standards, and relevant codes.

Attributes

: Detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent at problem-solving with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Analysis

: Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and residential projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Develop accurate quantity take-offs based on project drawings and specifications. Review project requirements to analyze costs, prepare rate analysis, and support in pricing decisions.

Billing and Documentation

: Prepare and verify client and subcontractor bills based on work progress. Ensure timely submission and certification of bills for ongoing projects. Maintain accurate records of billing documents, work orders, and supporting reports for audit and reference.

Project Budgeting and Cost Control

: Monitor and control project costs to align with project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient resource planning and allocation. Regularly update project stakeholders on budget performance and forecasted costs.

Contract Management

: Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with budgeted costs. Support procurement and contract teams with relevant cost data and billing requirements.

Coordination and Communication

: Collaborate with project engineers, site teams, and management to ensure accurate billing and estimation processes. Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and the project team to resolve billing and estimation issues.

Site Visits and Inspections

: Conduct site visits to assess project progress, verify quantities, and ensure accurate billing. Gather data on-site to support quantity estimations and as-built documentation.

Reporting

: Generate periodic reports on billing, project costs, and financial performance. Provide variance analyses between budgeted and actual costs.
