About the Role



We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Accountant with strong expertise in real estate or construction billing to join our team at Aranyaka Estates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end billing processes, verification of contractor/vendor bills, reconciliation, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing aligned with project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities



Billing & Invoicing



Prepare, verify, and process customer invoices, contractor bills, and progress billing as per project milestones. Review BOQs, work orders, purchase orders, and contract terms for accurate billing. Ensure timely submission of bills to clients and coordinate for approvals and payments.

Verification & Reconciliation



Verify contractor/vendor RA bills, measurement sheets (MB), and certification of work done. Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and procurement for validating quantities and rates. Perform monthly/quarterly billing reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Documentation & Compliance



Maintain billing-related documentation including agreements, change orders, and supporting documents. Ensure compliance with taxation requirements (GST/TDS) and prepare necessary reports. Support internal and external audits with billing data.

Financial Reporting



Prepare MIS reports on billing status, receivables, work orders, and outstanding payments. Monitor project-wise billing progress and inform management of delays or issues. Assist with month-end closing activities related to revenue recognition.

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of construction billing, real estate accounting, and project costing. Experience with measurement sheets, RA bill verification, and billing formats. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally ERP, SAP, or similar accounting tools. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent documentation ability. Effective communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or equivalent (B.Com/M.Com). 3-7 years of relevant experience in construction/real estate billing. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards.
