Job Requirements

As the IVI Feature Leader, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) software features across multiple modules such as Media, Radio, Connectivity, HVAC, Navigation, and HMI controls. You will lead cross-functional feature development teams, ensure timely delivery, drive integration, and act as the technical bridge between product management, UX/UI design, system engineering, and software development teams.

Feature Leadership:

Lead complete development cycle of IVI features including Media, Radio, Connectivity (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), HVAC, Navigation, Voice, and App Framework

Stakeholder Interface and Support:

Act as the primary technical point of contact between the OEM, supplier's engineering teams, and other cross functional internal teams by providing direct support and technical expertise

Team Leadership:

Guide and mentor module teams, assign tasks, perform design reviews, and ensure coding standards are met across multiple software domains

Planning & Tracking:

Create and maintain feature plans, delivery roadmaps, and timelines. Own feature backlog grooming, sprint planning, release management and status reporting

Issue Resolution:

Take lead in triaging bugs, field issues, and integration problems with internal and external stakeholders. Prioritize fixes and ensure resolution closure

Innovation & Optimization:

Contribute to system performance improvements, UX enhancements, and product differentiators using latest IVI platform capabilities

Japanese - JLPT N3 or above

Work Experience

Understanding of in-vehicle infotainment systems, their functionalities (audio, video, navigation, connectivity, etc.), and automotive standards Design and develop software applications specification for automotive IVI systems Experience in working with CarPlay, Android Auto, and App Certification process Good understanding of cybersecurity and OTA frameworks Collaborate with product management, engineering and design teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive IVI system specifications Participate in design reviews to validate adherence to specification and user requirements Document and communicate specifications, design decisions and implement guidelines to stakeholders and team members Very good communication skills and great team spirit Proficiency in diagnostic tools and protocols. (e.g: CAN, CANalyzer, CANoe, UDS) Intra and inter ECU communication knowledge * Knowledge in FailSafe analysis
