We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:

  • Instrumental in driving our software quality assurance lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to guide them and make sure right processes are followed and controls are adhered
  • Supporting PoD's in managing incidents & problems.
  • Assist with the management of production incidents.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and quality assurance for PIR documents (Post Incident Review)
  • Assist with the management of PRs (Problem Records) and PTASKS on the back of incidents.
  • Provide status reports, risks, and any issues directly to the Service Resilience & Reliability Manager.
  • Attend weekly retro meetings summarising and explaining the previous week's incidents.
  • Uphold processes and procedures implemented by the Technology Service Resilience & Reliability Manager.
  • Co-ordinate/own the control adherence for multiple PODs
  • Work with wider teams to create knowledge share documents to improve service quality.
  • Continuously strive for service excellence.
  • Help team setup pipeline by coordinating with multiple teams and ready to learn some technology aspects.
  • If bandwidth permits track deliverables
  • Come up with ideas around reducing manual work
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Software with 5+years of IN and service management or production support experience in bigdata ecosystem
  • A broad understanding and comprehensive appreciation across Service Management and Service Operations processes and principles.
  • Great stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • sound understanding and working knowledge of HSBC processes, service operations process and practice
  • DevOps principles for efficient delivery
  • Experience in Incident Management
  • Experience using ServiceNow
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Nice to have - Bigdata ecosystem understanding or HSBC data Ingestion process exposure
