Your team

You\'ll be working in the UBS CDIO Group Finance sector. We provide IT solutions to our global business counterparts, providing them with the reporting and analytical solutions required which enable them to utilize and manage the company\'s finances most effectively.

Your expertise

• you will be a self-starter with a strong interest in Azure cloud, motivated by the opportunity to use the latest available cloud technologies in a truly Agile environment
• knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies is essential:

- you will be able to confidently explain Big Data Concepts and have experience of Databricks, Delta Lakes, Data Mesh & Spark Data frames.
- you will be an expert in software engineering with a background in developing Databricks / SPARK / SCALA solutions.
- you will be familiar with Unix, Shell Scripting & Autosys technologies.
- OLAP and Dimensional modelling experience would be welcome but not essential.

• experience of working in an Agile Environment is essential:

- you will be familiar with Agile working and be able to talk confidently about the workings of a Scrum including the concepts of Sprints & Chapters.
- you will be an excellent communicator who can interact with internal customers, analyze their requirements and develop empowering applications
- you will have experience in the full development Lifecyle from initial design, plan and solution delivery in a large-scale enterprise environment
- you will be able to conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC

• experience of Investment Bank concepts would be beneficial.
