Job Description

Position: IT Bidder / Online Bidder

Role Overview

The IT Bidder is responsible for identifying, bidding, and acquiring new business opportunities through online platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, and other marketplaces. The candidate will work closely with the sales, technical, and project management teams to prepare proposals, negotiate with clients, and ensure successful project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Bidding

Identify relevant IT service projects on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, LinkedIn, etc.

Prepare customized and compelling proposals based on client requirements.

Submit high-quality bids within deadlines to maximize conversion rates.

Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.

2. Client Communication & Coordination

Communicate with clients through chat, calls, and emails to clarify project needs.

Conduct requirement analysis and gather technical details from internal teams.

Negotiate project scope, timelines, and pricing with prospective clients.

Follow up consistently with clients to close deals.

3. Market Research & Strategy

Perform competitive analysis and understand market trends in IT services.

Develop bidding strategies to improve win ratios and profitability.

Suggest service improvements based on client feedback and market needs.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed records of bids submitted, ongoing discussions, and conversions.

Prepare weekly/monthly reports on performance, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.

Collaborate with the management team to align bidding targets with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an IT Bidder or Online Bidder.

Strong understanding of IT services such as web development, mobile apps, software development, UI/UX, digital marketing, etc.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.

Familiarity with CRM tools and bidding platforms.

Preferred Skills

Basic understanding of project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana).

Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously and work under deadlines.

Proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented mindset.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
