Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSAS Tabular Models, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Notebooks and Azure Data Lake along with a solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Develop and optimize Gen2 Dataflows for efficient data transformation and ingestion.
Integrate data from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake and Synapse.
Build and maintain SSAS Tabular Cubes for advanced analytics and reporting.
Develop semantic models for Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environments.
Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.
Implement best practices for data lake architecture, partitioning, and security.
Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure compliance with governance standards.
Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI integrated with Fabric.
Enable self-service BI capabilities for business users.
Monitor ETL workflows, cube processing, and query performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues proactively.
OAC experience will add an advantage.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
Hands on experience on writing Synapse Notebooks.
Proficiency in SSAS Tabular Models and DAX.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Gen2 Dataflows.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling.
Knowledge of Power BI development and deployment.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for BI solutions.
Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Power BI, or Fabric.
Experience in large-scale enterprise BI environments.
