ROLE PURPOSE
The aim of reporting and data analytics team is to provide "One Version of the Truth" from the ECHO and related systems so that data integrity and reports from that database can be trusted as accurate, factual and without bias whilst smoothing and speeding up the production and collation of such data to ensure all metrics are relevant, reliable, and timely. The team will ensure that the data can be cross referenced to causal links and developed within an informatics framework discipline around a "Big Data" concept.
Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and develop the global reporting assets and structure: Design and develop BI solutions using Power BI, Fabric and other MS tools
Create and optimize data models to support reporting needs
Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for data modelling processes and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data related practices.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Data Analytics or a related field
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a BI developer or similar role
Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
Power BI / MS Fabric: Data modelling, administration, dataflow, pipeline management, data connectors, scheduling, Object security & RLS, incremental policy
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Familiarity with business applications and data structures
Knowledge of JDE data structures, including data warehousing
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Project and change management
Prioritization and time management
