Aufgaben
Key Responsibilities


A. Business Intelligence & Reporting

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver user-friendly BI outputs. Optimize visualizations and DAX measures to ensure high performance and usability. Implement governance and security within Power BI workspace environments.

B. ETL & Data Engineering

Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS, ensuring reliable, efficient, and scalable data pipelines. Implement data quality checks, data validations, and exception handling routines. Automate data ingestion and transformation processes from multiple source systems. Maintain and enhance data marts and operational data stores.

C. Reporting & Documentation

Build and support SSRS reports, scheduled jobs, and subscription-based reporting. Maintain clear documentation for data flows, data models, and reporting logic. Support internal audits, compliance requirements, and data governance initiatives.

D. Database Administration & Data Analysis

Perform intermediate-level SQL Server administration, including performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, backup/restore, and security management. Conduct in-depth data analysis, identify patterns, anomalies, and business insights using SQL and BI tools. Ensure availability, integrity, and reliability of production databases.

E. Cloud & Azure

Support basic Azure data services, such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and storage accounts as part of ongoing cloud adoption. Assist in migration and integration activities between on-premise SQL environments and Azure cloud workloads.

3. Required Skills & Experience


Technical Skills

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence and Data Engineering. Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling). Advanced SQL skills with experience in SQL Server (2016 or above). Strong experience with SSIS (ETL) and SSRS (reporting). Good understanding of database performance optimisation and administration. Exposure to Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, or related cloud services (preferred). Ability to work with APIs, flat files, and heterogeneous data sources.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-resolution capabilities. Excellent communication, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
QualifikationenBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or a related field.
