Job Summary:

The Manager - Institutional Sales plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for the organization by leading and managing the institutional sales team. This role involves developing and executing strategies to target and acquire institutional clients, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships, and coordinating sales activities to maximize revenue from institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive institutional sales strategy aligned with the company\'s objectives.

- Identify target markets, segments, and potential clients.

- Set clear sales goals and objectives for the team.

Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing institutional sales team.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Client Acquisition:

- Identify and approach potential institutional clients such as businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, etc.

- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

Account Management:

- Manage and nurture existing institutional client relationships.

- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill client needs.

Market Research:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.

Sales Performance Analysis:

- Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs.

- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.

Revenue Generation:

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment collection.

- Negotiate pricing and contracts to maximize revenue and profitability.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

- Generate regular sales reports and provide updates to senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

-Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other teams to align efforts and achieve common goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).

- Proven experience in institutional sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

- Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Knowledge of the Agriculture industry is a plus.
