About the Role
Why does the role exist?
To support business with business correspondent (BC) in order to scale the microfinance business
What is its contribution towards the organization?
This role contribute in effective roll-out of product, processes and policies for smooth functioning of business which in turn contribute to organization goal.
What is the size of the operation the position manages and supports?
The position will manage specific BC branches assigned and identified potential of the geography
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Monitoring the business targets to assigned BC branches
Conducting 100% client verification (including KYC check) in person for clients identified by BC
Conducting house verification on sample basis
Liaising between BC branch and Bank for smooth implementation of business
Portfolio Supervision
Monitoring of BC field activities such as CGT, GRT, disbursement and collections
Ensuring that the policies and processes prescribed for the BC business is implement in assigned BC branches
Assist BC branches in generating MIS and submission to Bank as required
Audit & Compliance
Review the audit reports of BC branches and monitoring compliance of the same
Ensuring resolutions to Process Manager reports are submitted within the stipulated timeframe
Handling BC branch queries and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve the same
