About Bharat Banking:

Bharat Banking is a new Department which has been set up to drive different business that the Bank does in Semi Urban and rural markets. The department is expected to drive business outcomes by focusing on partnerships, new products, innovation, reimagining customer journeys and driving / creating new channel.

The Deep Geo is a strategic initiative launched to increase presence and market share in Rural and Semi urban geographies. There are set of branches identified under the initiative with increased focus on retail lending, liabilities, insurance businesses.

About the Role:

The Area manager will be managing channel business in respective geography. The incumbent will be responsible for asset and liability business and will have a team of ROs tagged to branches. The incumbent will also drive Retail Lending business from Deep Geo branches, Deep Geo ROs and CSC / VLE agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 8 - 10 Deep Geo ROs and conduct the morning huddle with all Deep Geo ROs on daily basis.
  • Work closely with Branch Heads, Cluster Heads and reporting to Deep Geo Circle Managers.
  • Drive productivity of each Deep Geo RO and ensuring each Deep Geo RO earns incentives.
  • Ensure all branches achieve 100% of their Retail Lending targets every month and each Deep Geo RO achieves Self Sourced target every month.
  • Arrange weekly activities in nearby villages / shops / offices / etc around the branches with the help of Deep Geo ROs and Branch Heads for Business Generation.
  • Recruit, Manage, Train and Develop Deep Geo ROs, review performance of team frequently and Encourage and Motivate team
  • Recruit and manage all the CSC / VLE agents, to educate them / guide them to generate maximum ICE leads from CSC centers.
  • Ensure all Deep Geo ROs recruit fresh CSC agents from open market and complete on boarding process.
  • Ensure Proper Reporting, Attendance for Training - Review Meetings and Participation in CO / Circe / Cluster level drives.
  • Ensure leads and business is generated for all Retail Lending Products by Deep Geo ROs and CSC agents
  • Coordinate with all Products ROs and SMs / ASMs and ensuring all leads are responded properly on time.
  • Ensure all Deep Geo ROs cross sell other products as announced by CO from time to time.
Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
  • Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA
  • Experience of 3+ Years
