The BFSI Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training on banking, financial literacy, customer service, and insurance-related modules. The role focuses on preparing youth for entry-level roles in banks, NBFCs, microfinance institutions, insurance companies, and fintech organisations.
2. Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
Deliver structured and practical modules on:
Introduction to BFSI Sector & Career Roles
Banking Basics:
Types of accounts (Savings, Current, CASA)
KYC norms and documentation
Deposits, withdrawals, cheque handling
Digital banking and UPI
Microfinance & NBFC operations
Insurance Basics (Life, Health, General Insurance)
Customer Service & Relationship Management
Sales Fundamentals & Lead Generation
Credit, Lending & Collections basics
Compliance, Ethics & Regulatory Guidelines
Workplace Etiquette & Professional Behaviour
Interview preparation specific to BFSI roles
Use role plays, case studies, simulations (KYC, customer handling, sales pitch), and practical assignments.
Training Management
Develop lesson plans, training modules, quizzes, and assessments.
Maintain training records, attendance sheets, and trainee progress reports.
Conduct pre/post assessments and provide feedback to trainees.
Ensure batch discipline and engagement.
Trainee Support & Mentoring
Provide mentoring, doubt-clearing, and individual support for weaker students.
Conduct mock interviews for roles such as:
Customer Service Executive
Telecaller / Relationship Executive
Field Sales Officer
Insurance Advisor
Loan Officer / Collection Executive
Guide students on career pathways in BFSI sector.
Centre Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with mobilization team during batch onboarding.
Work with placement team to align training with employer requirements.
Support exposure visits, job fairs, and employer interaction sessions.
Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
3. Required Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Banking / Business Administration preferred.
1-4 years of experience in BFSI sector or BFSI training roles.
Experience in customer service, sales, microfinance, or NBFC operations preferred.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (RBI, IRDAI) is an added advantage.
