The BFSI Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance to youth under various skilling and livelihood programs. The role involves conducting theoretical and practical sessions, preparing candidates for entry-level roles in the BFSI sector, and ensuring that they meet the industry's employability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery
Conduct classroom and practical sessions as per the prescribed curriculum
Deliver interactive training using real-life examples, role plays, and digital tools.
Ensure effective understanding of core topics such as:
Basics of Banking & Financial Systems
Customer Service & Relationship Management
Financial Products, Services, and Insurance
Digital Banking, UPI, and Financial Inclusion
Sales & Marketing in BFSI
KYC, AML, and Regulatory Compliance
Prepare trainees for job roles such as Customer Service Executive, Business Correspondent, Relationship Officer, Loan Executive, or Sales Representative.*
2. Training Management & Quality
Develop lesson plans, session notes, and training aids as per guidelines.
Ensure completion of syllabus within the given timelines.
Monitor trainee attendance, performance, and discipline.
Conduct assessments, quizzes, and mock interviews to measure learning outcomes.
Maintain training records, progress reports, and evaluation sheets.
3. Industry & Placement Linkage Support
Coordinate with placement teams to understand industry requirements.
Mentor students on workplace behavior, soft skills, and interview preparation.
Support exposure visits or guest lectures from banking/financial professionals.
Update course content based on industry trends and recruiter feedback.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to project documentation standards.
Maintain batch-wise reports, photos, attendance, and evaluation records.
Support audits, monitoring visits, and internal reviews with proper documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Certification in BFSI, NISM, NCFM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 2-6 years of experience in BFSI sector or as a trainer.
Preference for candidates with experience in retail banking, insurance, or microfinance.
Prior experience in government or CSR skill development projects desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of BFSI concepts, products, and processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, online training tools, and digital banking applications.
Ability to motivate and engage youth from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational and reporting skills.
Fluency in English and local language(s).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Training batches completed as per schedule.
Student attendance and completion rate.
Average trainee assessment/test score.
Placement conversion rate of trained candidates.
Trainee and employer satisfaction feedback.
