Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in power systems, renewable energy, or sustainable technology preferred).
Minimum 10 years in Renewable Energy Systems (Solar PV, Battery Storage, Wind Energy).
Minimum 5 years in conceptual design, simulation, and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Review load profiles and engineer Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to meet project requirements.
Design, select, and size battery systems, ensuring optimization for performance and efficiency.
Utilize simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Homer) for sizing and performance modeling of the BESS.
Deep understanding of BESS design, battery chemistry, performance modeling, and lifecycle estimation.
Experience with various BESS applications such as power smoothening, peak shifting, and optimization strategies.
Knowledge of AC and DC coupled BESS.
Develop battery container layouts and collaborate with electrical, civil, and PV engineering teams for system integration.
Create single-line and three-line diagrams as per local codes and requirements.
Integrate third-party Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and SCADA systems.
Model energy storage system performance and develop corresponding technical specifications and scopes of work.
Design hybrid renewable energy systems (Solar, Wind, BESS) and microgrid power generation mixes using simulation tools.
Drive technical due diligence and conduct value engineering to optimize project costs and performance.
Prepare detailed estimates, cost analyses, and as-built designs for energy storage systems.
