Authentic Bengali Cook
to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of traditional Bengali cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques, ensuring that every dish reflects the rich flavors and heritage of Bengal.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Bengali dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items.
Ensure traditional taste, texture, and presentation are maintained across all dishes.
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Plan daily menus and coordinate with the purchase team for fresh and quality ingredients.
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain food cost efficiency.
Maintain consistency in food quality, portion size, and presentation.
Supervise kitchen helpers and assist in training junior staff when required.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards strictly.
Requirements:
Proven experience of
7-10 years
in preparing authentic Bengali cuisine in reputed restaurants or hotels.
Strong knowledge of Bengali spices, seafood preparation, and regional specialties.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently.
Excellent understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety practices.
Team player with good communication and time-management skills.
