Oversee the daily operations of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans (e.g., 401(k)).
Compliance:
Stay updated on and ensure adherence to federal and state laws, such as COBRA and FMLA, to keep benefits programs compliant.
Employee Support:
Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers, explaining plan options, resolving claim issues, and assisting with enrollment processes.
Program Development & Analysis:
Research industry trends, conduct employee surveys, and analyze data to recommend new programs or improvements that align with employee interests and organizational goals.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with insurance carriers and other benefit service providers, manage vendor contracts, and ensure the accuracy of eligibility files and billing invoices.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits data, manage enrollment systems, and perform regular data audits for accuracy and compliance.
Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and summarize benefits data to provide management with insights into trends, costs, and program effectiveness.
