Position Overview



We are seeking a skilled and empathetic

Behaviour Therapist

to join our multidisciplinary team. The Behaviour Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing behaviour intervention programs for children, adolescents, and adults dealing with developmental, emotional, and behavioural challenges. The role involves working closely with clients, families, psychologists, and educators to support positive behaviour change and overall emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct behavioural assessments and develop individualized therapy plans. Provide 1:1 behaviour therapy sessions for clients with conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, anxiety, and conduct-related issues. Apply evidence-based techniques including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and social skills training. Monitor client progress, record detailed session notes, and adjust intervention plans as required. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, psychologists, special educators, and teachers to create consistent behaviour management strategies across environments. Conduct group therapy sessions, workshops, or parent training programs when needed. Maintain ethical standards of practice, confidentiality, and sensitivity in all client interactions. Participate in case discussions, training programs, and research initiatives conducted by HapinusCare.

Qualifications & Skills



Master's degree in Psychology / Behavioural Science / Applied Behaviour Analysis or related field. Prior experience in child/adolescent counselling, behavioural therapy, or special education is preferred. Knowledge of therapeutic approaches like ABA, CBT, and Behaviour Modification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with children, parents, and professionals. Empathy, patience, and ability to handle challenging behaviour in a calm, supportive manner. Proficiency in Malayalam and English (preferred).
