Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Beauty Therapist to join our team. The Beauty Therapist will be responsible for providing a range of beauty treatments to our clients, including facials, skincare, hair removal, manicures, pedicures, and other beauty therapies. The ideal candidate should possess a deep passion for beauty services, be up-to-date with the latest trends, and offer a high level of professionalism in every treatment.

Key Responsibilities

:

Beauty Treatments

: Provide a wide range of beauty treatments including facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and massage services. Administer high-quality skin care treatments and recommend products based on individual client needs. Offer professional advice on skincare routines, beauty products, and self-care. Perform makeup applications for special occasions such as weddings, parties, or events.

Customer Service & Client Care

: Greet and welcome clients, creating a warm, comfortable, and professional atmosphere. Conduct consultations to understand client preferences, skin types, and any allergies or sensitivities. Customize beauty treatments to meet individual client needs and ensure satisfaction. Provide excellent aftercare advice, including follow-up recommendations for skincare or beauty routines.

Salon Maintenance & Hygiene

: Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including tools, equipment, and treatment rooms. Ensure that beauty products and equipment are sanitized and stored properly. Follow all safety and health regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

Sales and Product Knowledge

: Promote and sell beauty products and treatments based on client needs. Stay updated on the latest beauty products, treatments, and industry trends to offer informed advice to clients.

Team Collaboration & Development

: Work closely with colleagues and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional service. Participate in training sessions and stay informed about the latest beauty techniques and technologies.

Administrative Duties

: Maintain accurate client records, including treatment preferences and any skin sensitivities. Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and schedules efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

:

Education

: Certification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or relevant field. Advanced training in specific beauty treatments (e.g., facials, waxing, makeup application) is a plus.

Experience

: Previous experience working as a Beauty Therapist or in a similar beauty-related role preferred. Hands-on experience in performing various beauty treatments and services.

Skills

: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, and treatments. Attention to detail and a passion for enhancing client wellness and beauty. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple clients efficiently.

Personal Traits

: Professional appearance and demeanor. Compassionate, friendly, and approachable personality. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Certifications

: Any relevant beauty certifications (e.g., waxing, skin care, makeup application) will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

:

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per salon/clinic schedule. Ability to stand for long periods and manage physically demanding tasks. Occasional lifting of beauty products and equipment.
