Location : Mumbai

Sal : 40 to 50k per month

Business Development Manager (BDM) from an interior background focuses on growth and client acquisition in the interior design, architecture, or luxury furniture sectors, leveraging their design knowledge and sales experience to build relationships, create strategies, and drive revenue. To secure such a role, you typically need strong communication and negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of design trends, and experience in sales or business development, possibly with a technical background in interior design or architecture. Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and clients within the interior design sector.

Sales & Conversion:

Meeting with potential clients, explaining the company's products or services, and converting leads into sales.

Strategy Development:

Creating and implementing marketing plans to expand the company's business and meet growth targets.

Client & Partner Relations:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and project managers.

Project Collaboration:

Working with internal teams (design, production, marketing) to deliver customized solutions and ensure project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Domain Expertise:

A deep understanding of interior design principles, furniture, construction, and current trends.

Sales & Business Development Experience:

A proven track record in sales or business development, often within the luxury interior or furniture industry.

Communication & Negotiation:

Exceptional interpersonal and client-centric communication skills, including negotiation abilities.

Networking & Relationship Building:

The capacity to establish and nurture valuable connections within the industry.

Technical Aptitude:

Proficiency in relevant design software or familiarity with project management processes can be beneficial.
