Commercial & Industrial (C&I)
solar sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients in the
C&I (Commercial & Industrial)
segment for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Generate leads through various channels -- corporate outreach, networking, cold calls, and industry events.
Develop and deliver business proposals, technical presentations, and financial models to clients.
Manage end-to-end business development cycles from
lead generation to project closure.
Collaborate with the
engineering and project execution teams
to ensure smooth project delivery.
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, competitor activities, and policy changes.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
corporate decision-makers, EPC partners, and government bodies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering / Energy / Business Administration
(MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience
in solar energy sales, specifically in the
C&I segment.
Strong knowledge of
solar policies, MNRE guidelines, DISCOM procedures,
and net metering regulations.
Proven track record of achieving business targets and closing high-value projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools,
and basic understanding of
financial modeling (IRR, ROI).
Ability to work independently and travel extensively for client meetings and site visits.
