About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to join our growing IT services company in Mohali. This role is ideal for someone with 6 months to 6 years of experience in selling
IT services
(including Digital Marketing, Web Development, and Mobile App Development) across
Domestic and International
markets.
You will be responsible for generating leads, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships through
LinkedIn, Upwork, Cold Calling, Direct Sales, Email Marketing, and other B2B/B2C platforms
.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and qualify leads through LinkedIn, Upwork, freelance portals, email campaigns, and cold calling.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for domestic and international markets.
Explore and target new business sectors and geographical regions.
Client Engagement & Solution Selling
Understand client requirements and pitch tailored IT services (e.g., web, mobile, SEO, PPC, SMO, etc.).
Conduct online presentations, demos, and discovery calls with prospects.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements in collaboration with technical teams.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across B2B and B2C segments.
Upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients.
Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure timely deal closures.
Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with design, development, and marketing teams to deliver client expectations.
Use CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Provide regular reporting to senior management on pipeline status, conversions, and forecasts.
6 months to 6 years of proven experience in IT service sales (B2B & B2C).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand client needs and deliver solutions-based pitches.
Familiarity with sales cycles for digital services (SEO, SEM, SMM, UI/UX, custom development, etc.).
Strong knowledge of international sales techniques and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience working with clients from US, UK, Canada, Australia, Middle East, or Europe.
Prior experience with freelance platforms like Upwork is highly desirable.
