Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets (e.g., commercial, industrial, residential, architectural lighting).
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and distributors.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, and product development) to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
Monitor project pipelines, sales forecasts, and customer feedback.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lighting technologies and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
1 + years of business development or sales experience in the lighting industry.
Strong network within the lighting or electrical contracting space is a plus.
Technical understanding of LED lighting systems, controls, and applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting.
