Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop
new business opportunities
in solar power, electrical contracting, and related services.
Generate leads through networking, cold calls, references, and industry events.
Meet with
industrial, commercial, and institutional clients
to understand their energy needs and propose suitable solutions.
Prepare and deliver
technical and commercial proposals
in coordination with the design and estimation teams.
Manage the
sales cycle
from lead generation to closure, including negotiation and contract finalization.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, execution) to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on
market trends, competitor activities, and government policies
in the solar and electrical sectors.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by the management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering
or a related field (MBA in Marketing preferred).
Minimum
3 years of experience
in business development or sales within the
solar or electrical industry
.
Strong understanding of
solar EPC solutions, electrical systems, and project sales
.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and close deals.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel within the region.
Proficiency in
MS Office, CRM tools
, and proposal documentation.
