Location Ahmedabad
Responsibilities:
1. Government Sales:
- Identify and target government agencies for the sale of fire and disaster response products.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
2. Liaisoning:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with government authorities.
- Navigate government procurement processes and build strong relationships to facilitate business opportunities.
3. Tender Management:
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tender documentation.
-Make sure payment is received against order.
-Follow-up with authorities for BG/EMD etc.
4. Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about government policies, regulations, and upcoming projects relevant to our product line.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
5. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in government departments.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders.
6. Sales Reporting:
- Generate regular sales reports detailing activities, achievements, and future plans.
- Provide insights to the leadership team on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in government sales and liaisoning.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a similar role.
2. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
3. Skills:
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tendering.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with fire and disaster response products or related technologies is a plus.
4. Networking:
- Established networks within government circles is highly desirable.
5. Result-Oriented:
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve results.
- KRAs and KPIs will be established to measure success in this role.
-Open to travel on a need basis, depending on lead generation.
