Job Overview
Nimbus Lights is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Executive / Business Development Executive with experience in selling products related to home construction, interiors, or building materials. The role focuses on field sales, business generation, client relationship management, and achieving sales growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular field visits to architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and retailers
Generate new leads and convert them into active customers
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing clients
Promote and sell company products related to building materials, paints, and home-use products
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatch, and delivery
Submit daily and weekly sales reports along with market feedback
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Candidate Requirements
1-4 years of experience in sales (preferably in Building Materials, Paints, or Home-related products)
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Fluency in the regional language
Tamil for Chennai
Gujarati for Surat
Comfortable with field sales, travel, and client meetings
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, WhatsApp, Email)
Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive attitude
Preferred Background
Experience in selling products related to home construction, interiors, renovation, or furnishing
Prior exposure to dealer and distributor-based sales models
