BDD - Behaviour Driven Development Tester (Java + API Testing)Experience: 5-12yearsLocation: Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad, IndiaSummaryWe're seeking a skilled BDD Tester with a strong Java background and deep expertise in RESTful API and Microservices testing. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks.
• Perform integration and functional testing for RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Build and execute extensive test cases based on gathered requirements.
• Use tools such as SOA Test, Postman, and Fiddler for API/Webservices testing.
• Write and optimize SQL queries (DB2) to support testing scenarios.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and use JIRA/Zypher for tracking.
• Contribute to performance testing initiatives using JMeter.

Requirements

• Strong programming and testing experience in Java.
• Deep understanding of BDD principles and frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience in testing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Proficiency with JUnit, automated testing, and integration testing.
• Hands-on with SQL (DB2), SOA Test, Postman, Fiddler.
• Familiar with Agile Scrum, JIRA, and Zypher.
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is a plus.
