Job Brief
Our client is seeking a dynamic and design-oriented Business Development Manager focused exclusively on Mall Accounts. The role involves working closely with mall management teams, retail brands, and mall marketing stakeholders to deliver impactful visual merchandising, space decor, and branding solutions within shopping malls.
This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy on-ground mall engagement, understand retail environments, and can translate creative concepts into commercially viable mall-based branding projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage business relationships with mall management teams and retail brands within malls
• Identify and close opportunities related to mall branding, visual merchandising, festive decor, pop-ups, and experiential spaces
• Present design-driven branding and execution solutions tailored to mall environments and retail visibility goals
• Coordinate closely with architects, interior designers, visual merchandisers, and mall marketing teams
• Support clients in visualising how creative space solutions enhance footfall, brand recall, and shopper engagement
• Build long-term relationships with mall stakeholders to generate repeat and referral business
• Propose creative concepts aligned with mall calendars, campaigns, and tenant requirements
• Ensure adherence to company pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and operational processes
• Maintain accurate records of meetings, proposals, closures, and execution updates in CRM
• Share regular updates on business progress, pipeline, and revenue performance
• Provide structured feedback from malls and retailers to improve service offerings

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in mall-focused business development, retail sales, or space branding
• Strong exposure to shopping malls, retail environments, or visual merchandising projects
• Background in architecture, retail design, or premium interiors preferred
• A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Architecture or Interior Design is an advantage

• Strong design sensibility with the ability to visualise retail and mall spaces
• Ability to convert creative ideas into structured business proposals
• Comfortable engaging with mall management, retail brand teams, and design professionals
• Solution-oriented thinker with a balance of creativity and commercial awareness
• Understanding of mall branding formats, seasonal campaigns, and retail visibility tools
• Proficient in using CRM systems for tracking leads, deals, and reporting.
