Key Responsibilities
Sales Training & Development
Conduct induction programs for new BD hires on products, sales techniques, and dental concepts.
Deliver classroom and field training sessions focused on dentist engagement, aligner product knowledge, and treatment awareness.
Organize refresher workshops to strengthen product & sales knowledge.
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Accompany sales team during clinic visits and provide live training.
Guide BDEs on pitching aligners to dentists, handling objections, and building long-term relationships.
Demonstrate effective ways of generating leads and closing sales.
Performance Coaching & Evaluation
Identify knowledge/skill gaps and design targeted training interventions.
Support underperformers through PIP and continuous coaching.
Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and field evaluations.
Training Content & Development
Develop sales playbooks, product training material, FAQs, and objection-handling guides.
Customize training modules as per market trends, business goals, and clinical updates.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with Sales Leaders, Marketing, and Clinical teams to ensure training alignment.
Share training MIS, weekly reports, and feedback with management.
Stay updated on new products, competition, and treatment protocols.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of dentistry & aligner treatments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to train, mentor, and motivate sales teams.
Strong problem-solving and escalation-handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Office & Google Suite.
Qualifications & Experience
BDS degree (mandatory).
2-5 years of experience in dental/aligner/pharma sales or training.
Prior experience in business development or sales training will be an advantage.
