Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable faculty member to join our Computer Applications department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA/MCA), developing curriculum, and contributing to the academic and professional growth of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures and tutorials for core BCA subjects such as Programming Languages (C/C++/Java/Python), Data Structures, Web Technologies, Database Management Systems, Networking, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools aligned with academic objectives. Evaluate and grade students' assignments, projects, and exams in a timely and objective manner. Mentor students academically and professionally, including supervising projects and internships. Engage in curriculum development and continuous course improvement. Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and other academic initiatives. Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress as per institutional norms. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) / Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field. UGC NET qualification (if applicable) or PhD (preferred). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at undergraduate level (can be adjusted based on institution needs).

Preferred Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills. In-depth knowledge of core computer science subjects. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Moodle, Zoom). Ability to guide students in practical labs and final year projects. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.

Compensation:

As per institutional norms / experience and qualifications.
