The BCA & MCA Faculty/Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate (BCA) and postgraduate (MCA) computer application programs. The role includes both theory and practical teaching, project supervision, technical skill development, and active participation in departmental academic activities. The ideal candidate must have strong programming knowledge and a passion for technical education.
Teach programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
Teach core computer science subjects:
Data Structures, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Web Development, OOPs, Software Engineering.
Teach advanced MCA subjects such as:
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Advanced Java, Mobile App Development.
Conduct theory classes, practical labs, coding workshops, and doubt-clearing sessions.
Project & Practical Guidance
Guide students in mini-projects (BCA) and major software projects (MCA).
Supervise research-based projects and innovative technical applications.
Assist students in debugging, coding practice, and technical competitions.
Assessment & Evaluation
Prepare lab manuals, assignments, question papers, and exam materials.
Evaluate practical and theory examinations.
Maintain attendance, academic records, and student performance reports.
Academic & Departmental Activities
Participate in curriculum design and academic planning.
Organize technical events, hackathons, workshops, and seminars.
Attend faculty development programs (FDPs) and training sessions.
Collaborate with the department for academic improvements and innovations.
Institutional Responsibilities
Support college events, admission processes, and orientation programs.
Maintain a disciplined, student-friendly, and productive classroom environment.
Promote use of technology and practical-based learning across the department.
3. Qualifications Required
MCA / M.Tech (Computer Science/IT).
Strong understanding of programming, software tools, and core CS concepts.
Teaching or industry experience of minimum 1 year.
4. Skills Required
Strong coding and analytical skills.
Ability to teach technical concepts in a simple and clear manner.
Proficiency in IDEs, databases, development tools, and modern technologies.
Effective communication and classroom management.
Problem-solving mindset and passion for student development.
5. Employment Terms
Salary:
?15,000-?40,000 per month (based on qualification & experience).
