Role
Qualified Electo-mechanical engineer with 3+ years of relevant experience in battery pack design, development and production. This position requires engineer to design battery pack from the concept to industrialization of lithium-ion battery modules for EV 2W application.
A purpose driven role for you

• Design traction battery pack module based on the vehicle specification

• Make Vs Buy battery strategy, Supplier handling, Benchmarking & Roadmap

• Battery Safety and Support battery validation and test activities.

• Gateway system, Manage the battery development and activities.

Academic Qualification & Experience
M. Tech & B. Tech in Mechanical Eng./ Mechatronics
Technical Skills/Knowledge
Wide experience and knowledge in lithium-ion battery pack design. Wide experience and knowledge in battery pack production equipment and process.
Experience in regulations and standards (AIS-156, AIS-038, ECE R100, UN38.3 etc.) for battery packs.
Knowledge of testing and validation of battery packs. Knowledge in IMD and isolation measurement circuit design.
Knowledge in thermal design and advanced materials for cooling and mechanical integrity. Knowledge of Li-ion cell chemistry, form factor and welding technologies.
Experience in assembly methodologies and design for robustness. Good communication and team working skills.
Knowledge of proto development techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of PLM is must Working knowledge in DFMEA, PFMEA, DFSS, DFA, SPC, APQP
Knowledge of complete cycle of design of battery pack. Knowledge of thermal behaviour of battery pack
Knowledge of different theories and concepts like SOC estimation, temperature de-rating strategies.
Good understanding of charging protocol (GB/T, CCS2) and CAN communication
Knowledge on Manufacturing and assembly process. (Deep draw, injection moulding, blow moulding, sheet metal, casting, laser welding, ultrasonic welding, Spot and MAG welding)
