The Bartender is responsible for preparing, mixing, and serving beverages to guests while ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. The role involves maintaining a well-stocked bar, managing guest interactions professionally, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Bar Operations:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Set up and maintain the bar area in a clean and organized manner.
Ensure proper stock levels of liquor, mixers, and bar supplies.
Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service.
Recommend drinks based on guest preferences.
Maintain a positive and engaging guest experience.
Handle guest complaints politely and report any issues to the supervisor.
Inventory & Hygiene:
Record daily sales and report shortages or damages.
Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment, glassware, and counters.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Teamwork:
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service.
Assist in closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
Qualifications & Skills:
12th pass or Diploma in Hotel Management / Bartending.
Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in a hotel, bar, or restaurant.
Good knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar equipment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Pleasant personality and grooming.
