Key responsibilities
:
Drink preparation:
Mix and serve a wide range of beverages, from classic cocktails to non-alcoholic options, following recipes accurately.
Guest service:
Greet guests, take orders, make recommendations, and handle customer complaints. They are responsible for creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
Bar maintenance:
Keep the bar area clean and organized, wash glassware, and ensure that tools, garnishes, and other supplies are ready for use.
Inventory management:
Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and take inventory of liquor, mixers, and other bar supplies.
Sales and transactions:
Process payments accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system, manage open tabs, and handle cash and credit card transactions.
Legal compliance and safety:
Verify the legal drinking age by checking IDs and monitor customer consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other staff, such as servers and kitchen personnel, to ensure smooth operations.
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology.
Customer service skills:
Friendly, outgoing demeanor, good communication, and the ability to make guests feel at home.
Operational skills:
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge:
Understanding of alcohol laws and safety procedures.
