Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile and energetic

Bartender cum Steward

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in service areas, and providing exceptional guest service both at the bar and on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Bartending Duties:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Handle cash and card transactions using POS systems. Suggest beverages to guests and answer questions about menu items and drink pairings. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Stewarding/Service Duties:

Greet and seat guests when needed, presenting menus and explaining specials. Take food and beverage orders and serve them accurately and efficiently. Clear and clean tables, ensuring a tidy and presentable dining area. Assist in setting up the dining area before service and closing it down after service. Maintain cleanliness in service areas and restock supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments. Support kitchen staff and other team members during busy periods.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a bartender, steward, or in a similar role. Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail preparation, and bar equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Positive attitude, team spirit, and attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent; bartending training/certification is a plus.
