ZOY-Cafe is an in-house cafe concept by ZOYInfinity Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., designed as a vibrant community space for PG residents and walk-in customers. With a focus on quality beverages, curated snacks, and an inviting urban atmosphere, ZOY-Cafe blends creativity, consistency, and customer service to deliver a modern cafe experience.

Position Overview



The Barista will prepare high-quality beverages, maintain cafe hygiene, support daily operations, and contribute to creating a warm guest experience. In addition to beverage preparation, the Barista will also assist in

menu designing

, including conceptualizing new drinks, providing input on flavour profiles, and working with the cafe team to develop seasonal specials.

Key Responsibilities



1. Beverage Preparation & Quality Control



Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages as per ZOY-Cafe's recipes and standards. Ensure consistency in flavour, presentation, and portion control. Stay updated on new menu items, ingredient variations, and daily specials.

2. Customer Service & Experience



Warmly greet guests and accurately take orders. Recommend beverages or food items based on customer preferences. Handle feedback courteously and escalate concerns when needed.

3. Cafe Maintenance & Hygiene



Maintain cleanliness of the bar counter, equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Follow FSSAI and in-house SOPs for hygiene and food handling. Ensure timely cleaning and upkeep of coffee machines, grinders, and blenders.

4. Inventory & Stock Management



Monitor ingredient and supply levels and report replenishment needs. Follow FIFO principles for ingredient usage. Assist in checking deliveries and maintaining storage standards.

5. Billing & Cash Handling



Operate the POS system for billing and payment processing. Handle cash, UPI, and digital transactions securely. Ensure accurate billing and maintain receipt records.

6. Menu Designing & Innovation



Assist in

menu development

, including suggesting new beverage ideas, improving existing recipes, and identifying trending flavours. Provide feedback on customer preferences to support seasonal menu updates. Participate in tasting sessions and contribute to product quality discussions. Collaborate with the Cafe Manager to refine presentation standards for drinks.

7. Operational Support



Assist with opening and closing routines of the cafe. Support fellow team members during rush hours. Maintain adherence to company policies and grooming standards.

Skills & Qualifications



6 months-2 years of experience as a Barista (freshers with training may apply). Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and cafe operations. Strong communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Creativity and interest in beverage innovation and menu planning. Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
