Job Description

A barista's job involves warmly serving customers, preparing and serving various hot/cold coffee & tea drinks, taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, organized work area with equipment like espresso machines, ensuring a positive customer experience and efficient cafe operations through multitasking and adherence to hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

: Greet guests, take orders accurately, answer questions, build rapport with regulars, and process payments (cash/card).

Beverage Preparation

: Brew coffee, steam milk, operate espresso machines, and create specialty drinks, often with latte art, following recipes.

Food Service

: Prepare and serve pastries, sandwiches, and other food items.

Cleanliness & Stocking

: Maintain clean workstations, machines, and seating areas; restock supplies like cups, beans, syrups, and lids; and perform opening/closing duties.

Equipment Management

: Operate and clean coffee makers, grinders, and POS systems.

Inventory

: Monitor stock levels and help with ordering supplies.
Essential Skills:

Strong customer service and communication. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail for drink quality and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
Typical Environment:

Coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels, or other food service settings. May involve standing for long periods and working with hot equipment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
