Job Description

1. Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cafe standards, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong product knowledge, hygiene discipline, and a positive guest-focused attitude.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation

Prepare all coffee, tea, and specialty beverages as per company standards. Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewing equipment safely. Maintain consistency in taste, quantity, and presentation.

Guest Service

Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Provide product recommendations and suggest add-ons. Serve beverages and food items with proper etiquette.

Station & Hygiene Management

Keep the barista station clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Follow FSSAI, hygiene, and safety guidelines strictly. Maintain cleaning schedules for machines and counters.

Inventory & Stock

Check daily stock of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables. Report shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor. Support with receiving and storing inventory as required.

Cash Handling

Process orders using POS system. Handle cash/card transactions accurately. Maintain billing accuracy and avoid discrepancies.

Team Support

Coordinate with kitchen staff for food orders. Support colleagues during peak hours. Follow all SOPs and company policies.

3. Skills & Requirements

Basic knowledge of coffee brewing and cafe operations (training will be provided). Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, grooming, and discipline. Willingness to learn and adapt. 0-2 years of experience (freshers can apply).

4. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long hours. Should be able to lift small stock items (up to 10-15 kg).

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
