Job Purpose

The Cafe Trainer is responsible for training, developing, and monitoring cafe staff across all roles to ensure consistent service quality, operational efficiency, hygiene standards, and adherence to company SOPs, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities Cafe Operations Training

Train staff on daily cafe operations including opening, service flow, and closing procedures Ensure compliance with all SOPs and brand standards Train staff on shift coordination and teamwork
Staff Training & Development

Conduct induction training for new hires Train baristas, cashiers, floor staff, supervisors, and support staff Conduct refresher and corrective training as required Identify skill gaps and implement improvement plans
Customer Service & Experience

Train staff on guest engagement, communication, and etiquette Handle customer complaints through proper service-recovery training Ensure consistent customer experience across shifts
Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

Train staff on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards Ensure grooming and cleanliness standards are followed Conduct hygiene audits and corrective training
Inventory & Cost Awareness

Train staff on raw material handling and FIFO Educate teams on wastage control and cost awareness Support managers in maintaining stock discipline
Training Records & Reporting

Maintain training schedules, attendance, and evaluation records Track staff performance post-training Submit regular training reports to management
New Store & Operational Support

Support new cafe openings and staff ramp-ups Assist during peak hours to observe and coach staff Implement new menu launches and operational changes
Qualifications & Experience

3-6 years of experience in cafe, QSR, or hospitality operations Strong understanding of cafe workflows and SOPs Prior training or team-leading experience preferred
Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong leadership and coaching ability Attention to detail and discipline Ability to work across multiple outlets Problem-solving and people-management skills

Training completion rate SOP compliance score Customer satisfaction feedback Reduction in complaints and operational errors Staff skill improvement post-training

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
