We are pleased to introduce our Integrated Barista Training, Certification & Employment Program, designed to bridge the gap between hospitality education and real-world specialty cafe operations. We are currently looking to onboard motivated final-year students and fresh graduates who are keen to build a long-term career in specialty coffee.
Program Overview
This program is structured as a train-to-employ model, combining evaluation, hands-on training, certification, and confirmed employment with Dripface Coffee.
Phase 1: 3-Day Evaluation Program
Shortlisted Candidates will undergo a 3-day practical assessment, evaluated on three core parameters:
1. Beverage & Recipe Execution - basic coffee beverages, accuracy, and consistency
2. Coffee Knowledge & Sensory Test - fundamentals of coffee, brewing awareness, tasting ability
3. Attitude & Professional Mindset - learning intent, discipline, teamwork, and customer orientation
Candidates who successfully clear this evaluation will be selected for employment with Dripface Coffee.
Phase 2: Employment + Intensive Training (3 Months)
Selected candidates will be
employed with Dripface Coffee for a period of one year
The first
3 months
will consist of
intensive on-the-job training
Training will be conducted under
experienced baristas and trainers
Exposure will include:
Espresso-based beverages & brewing methods
Equipment handling & maintenance
Cafe SOPs, hygiene & safety
Customer interaction & service excellence
Real-time cafe operations during peak hours
Phase 3: Certification & Career Progression
Upon successful completion of 3 months:
Candidates receive
Dripface Coffee Barista Certification
They are promoted to the role of
Junior Barista
Salary hike and a clearly defined job role are implemented
