Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages (hot/cold) as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines

2. Educate customers on coffee, brewing methods, and product pairings (cakes, pastries, etc.)

3. Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewing equipment safely and efficiently

4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the barista station and customer areas

5. Manage inventory of coffee supplies and support restocking as needed

6. Take customer orders and handle POS billing with accuracy and courtesy

7. Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service at all times

8. Support product sampling and store promotions as instructed

9. Train junior staff (Sr. Barista level only) and ensure adherence to service SOPs

10. Report customer feedback and operational challenges to the store supervisor

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency in espresso-based drinks and manual brewing techniques

2. Knowledge of coffee beans, blends, milk steaming, and flavor profiles

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

4. Attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation

5. Strong customer orientation and service mindset

6. Basic math and POS handling skills

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with team coordination

Desired Skills:

1. Latte art skills (for Sr. Barista or growth path)

2. Familiarity with inventory and stock management

3. Basic understanding of cake/pastry products and coffee pairings

4. Experience in boutique cafes, international chains, or premium F&B brands
