Job Summary:

As a Barista, you will be the face of our cafe, responsible for creating exceptional coffee and tea beverages while delivering outstanding customer service. This role combines a passion for coffee craft with a commitment to creating a welcoming experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly, and possess an attention to detail that ensures consistent quality in each cup served.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty offerings. Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and pour-over systems, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance. Provide friendly, personalized service by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders accurately. Follow precise recipes and presentation standards for all beverages, ensuring consistent quality and taste. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including countertops, seating areas, and restrooms. Restock inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, as needed. Handle cash, process payments, and manage point-of-sale transactions accurately. Engage in continuous learning about coffee origins, brewing methods, and our seasonal menu items. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Barista or in the coffee industry is required. Strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment. Ability to stand for long periods. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
