Job Summary
We're looking for energetic, customer-focused Baristas who are passionate about coffee and committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience. As a Barista at Brown Town, you'll craft beverages with precision, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and contribute to a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages to Brown Town standards
Educate customers on our menu and recommend products based on their preferences
Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the workstations and customer areas
Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols
Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily opening/closing duties
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations
Provide friendly, prompt, and respectful service at all times
Qualifications
Previous barista or cafe experience is preferred, but not required (we provide training!)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
