Job Description

A barista job involves crafting and serving coffee/beverages, providing excellent customer service (greeting, taking orders, recommendations), operating espresso machines and POS systems, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, stocked, and welcoming cafe environment, requiring multitasking and a passion for coffee in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

Making hot/cold drinks (coffee, tea, specialty items) using espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment.

Customer Service:

Warmly greeting customers, taking orders accurately, answering questions, and building rapport.

Sales & Transactions:

Operating the register (POS), handling cash/cards, and suggesting food/drinks.

Cleanliness & Maintenance:

Keeping workstations, equipment, seating areas, and restrooms clean and sanitized; restocking supplies.

Inventory:

Monitoring stock (beans, milk, cups) and helping with orders/deliveries.

Teamwork:

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and great customer experiences.
Essential Skills & Attributes:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Attention to detail (recipes, orders). Passion for coffee and learning new techniques. Knowledge of food safety/hygiene.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
