Barista / Drinks Specialist

to join our team. We specialize in healthy vegan/vegetarian cuisine, in-house bakery, and a creative non-alcoholic beverage menu featuring specialty coffees, smoothies, fresh juices, health-focused drinks, and seasonal specials using fresh local ingredients. You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to our welcoming cafe atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages: espresso-based coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies, fresh juices, herbal teas, and signature non-alcoholic drinks. Create appealing drink presentations with latte art and garnishes. Develop and suggest new seasonal or health-focused drink ideas aligned with our plant-based ethos. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and inventory. Provide friendly, efficient service to guests, including taking orders and handling payments. Manage stock of coffee beans, syrups, fruits, milks (including plant-based alternatives), and other ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Barista or in beverage preparation (1+ years preferred; freshers with passion and basic skills welcome). Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machines, and non-alcoholic drink creation. Experience with smoothies, fresh juices, and plant-based milks is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a warm, positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak hours. Good communication skills and basic math for transactions. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays in South Goa.
